Learn the basics of wet and dry felting using traditional techniques in this mixed-media class. Students learn how to create flat felt, cords, beads, and both hollow and solid forms as a foundation for more advanced forms.

Tricia Stackle is currently working toward her M.F.A. in fiber at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. After earning a B.A. in studio art, theology, and secondary education at Saint Louis University, Stackle moved to Seattle, where she has taught high school art at Archbishop Murphy High School (Everett) and at Seattle Preparatory School. She has shown her paintings, prints, and mixed-media work in several venues in both Washington and Michigan.
