My Place

This annual student exhibition, My Place, encouraged students to explore commonly held ideas, beliefs, and assumptions about community, land, home, and national identity. Participating students focused on identity of a physical place as well as one's role or position within that place or the world. With guidance from their teachers, they explored how contemporary artists address the idea of place through the Frye exhibition Life After Death: New Leipzig Paintings from the Rubell Family Collection.
