Saturday in the Studio

Designed for students ages seventeen to adult and taught by professional teaching artists, Saturday in the Studio classes give participants the means to build skills in viewing and creating art.

Educators continuing-education credit and clock hours are available for all Saturday in the Studio classes. The fees are $80 for two SPU credits and $30 for twenty clock hours. Payments for credit or clock hour fees are paid directly to SPU on the first day of class in the Art Studio. Do not include payment for credits and clock hours with your registration.

Registration Advance registration is required for all studio classes and is due two weeks before the first day of the class. To ensure registration a completed order form and full fees must be submitted. Registrations are processed in the order received. Space is limited.

Purchase confirmation Registration is confirmed by e-mail or mailed confirmation receipt. Information packets will be sent by mail two weeks prior to studio class. If registration occurs less than two weeks prior to the first class information will be available at the Frye.

Cancellation and Refunds The Frye Art Museum reserves the right to cancel any studio class. If the Museum cancels a class a full refund will be issued. If a participant cancels enrollment more than two weeks prior to the class start date, the participant will receive a full refund, less $25 processing fee. No refunds are issued with less than two weeks’ notice. To cancel a registration, participants must call (206) 432-8200 between 9 am and 5 pm Monday–Friday.
