Inspired by the narratives within Your Feast Has Ended, students will collectively and collaboratively create and perform an original rap song/long form poem exploring notions of neocolonialism and adaptation to rapid change in the environment.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Allison Warden, an Iñupiaq Eskimo interdisciplinary artist, raps under the name AKU-MATU. She has worked extensively in theatre and music with young people throughout Alaska, where her one-woman show, Ode to the Polar Bear, toured extensively.
