Be The First To Review The B83 is a mixed media work presented in 4.1. "B83" is an homage to Gordon Mumma's ground breaking 1963 electronic music composition Megaton for William Burroughs.

About the Artist

Steven H. Fisk (born 1954 Long Beach, California) is an American music producer, audio engineer, and composer. He first came to prominence as part of Olympia's Anonymous, and was included on Jello Biafra's 1981 seminal punk compilation "Let Them Eat Jellybeans". Since then, Fisk has become an enormous influence on the music and sounds coming out of the Pacific Northwest. As a producer and engineer, he's worked with an eclectic list including Beat Happening, Screaming Trees, Reggie Watts, Unwound, Nirvana, and Ben Gibbard. As a performer and composer he’s played with Pell Mell, The Halo Benders, Pigeonhed, and released a series of solo recordings. Fisk's own music employs a signature approach to collage, texture, and sampling, which often spills over into his record productions. He has a long history with electronic music, analogue synthesis, and writing for immersive audio. Recent work can be heard at the Experience Music Project.
