The Parthenon, dedicated to the goddess Athena and constructed on the Athenian Acropolis between 447 and 432 BCE, has long been renowned for the elegance of its architecture and beauty of its sculpture. Pericles misappropriated defense funds to erect this powerfully influential Doric temple.

In the event that all tickets have been reserved for a paid program, standby numbers will be distributed at the information desk on a first come, first served basis beginning one hour prior to the program. Should seats become available, numbers will be called out in front of the auditorium fifteen minutes before the program begins and remaining tickets will be sold.
