The Board of Trustees and Director/CEO Joseph Rosa invite you to a reading by Seattle-based poet Quenton Baker, followed by a reception celebrating the opening of his solo exhibition Ballast. Please join us to get a first look at the exhibition, which uses poetic interventions to examine the 1841 slave revolt aboard the brig Creole as a lens to reflect on the ongoing afterlife of slavery in American society.

Frye Members will receive complimentary drink tickets. Not yet a Member? Join today!
