Frye Nouveau in the City: AMcE Creative Arts
Ready to unlock the secrets of Seattle’s vibrant art scene?
We’re heading out for a night on the town full of art, lively conversation, and exclusive after-hours access to AMcE Creative Arts.
Named by The Seattle Times as one of Seattle’s “next generation gallerists,” owner and director A. McLean Emenegger will lead us through AMcE's exhibition Ad-Lib and reveal the nuances of collecting and the behind-the-scenes magic that shapes Seattle’s cultural landscape.
This 21+ event is for Frye Members only; space is limited, so reserve your spot today. Light refreshments will be provided.
About A. McLean Emenegger and AMcE Creative Arts:
Prior to moving to Seattle in 2020, A. McLean Emenegger was an active leader in the Los Angeles artistic community for 20+ years. She opened her first brick-and-mortar art gallery, AMcE Creative Arts, on Capitol Hill in June 2021. Gallery programs include group and solo exhibitions with local and national artists, as well as community and culturally focused events.
About Ad-Lib:
Improvising with energy and color, Ad-Lib features an instinctively culled collection of work from a wide swath of AMcE’s artist and program roster. Paintings, works on paper, photographs, and prints, will be grouped into a non-thematic collection.
The show will also feature a few impromptu installation alterations, including the introduction of new or reconfigured artwork during the run.
