Frye Art Museum Announces Summer/Fall 2022 Program

Seattle, WA, April 21, 2022

The Frye Art Museum is pleased to announce its summer/fall 2022 program. In addition to serving as the final exhibition venue for the first in-depth examination of Romare Bearden’s engagement with abstraction, the Frye will feature multiple artist-curated exhibitions including ESTAR(SER)‘s installation of the museum collection, as well as the group show Door to the Atmosphere, co-curated by artist Srijon Chowdhury and Frye Chief Curator Amanda Donnan. In late spring, the Museum also looks forward to launching a new website, designed in collaboration with Polymode Studio and Bear Group. A full press release is available for download here.

The Frye Art Museum is a living legacy of visionary patronage and civic responsibility, committed to artistic inquiry and a rich visitor experience. A catalyst for our engagement with contemporary art and artists is the Founding Collection of Charles and Emma Frye, access to which shall always be free.

The Frye Art Museum is accredited by the American Association of Museums.
