Drop-in Studio | Landscapes of Memory

The Museum will close at 5 pm today, November 5, for a private event.

Drop-in Studio | Landscapes of Memory

Unwind, explore, and get creative!

Inspired by Teresa Baker's Winter Stories (2022), on view in An Indigenous Present, explore how color, shape, and texture can express our connections to meaningful places. Experiment with felt, artificial turf, oil pastels, and collage to create an abstract landscape inspired by a place that holds personal or community significance.

Come solo or with a friend; stay for fifteen minutes or settle in for the full session—the choice is yours! All ages and experience levels are welcome. Youth may participate with an accompanying adult. Materials are included, and no registration is required.

Details:

  • What to Expect: Open studio art making with gentle guidance from Frye teaching artists
  • Cost: Free
  • Registration: No registration required but space is limited, and participation is first come, first served.
  • Where: Frye Studio
