Expressive Ink: Landscape to Abstraction
Inspired by works on view in Frye Salon and Jonathan Lasker: Drawings and Studies, this six-week course invites you to explore varied methods of mark-making, translating ways of seeing into both representational and abstract art using ink as the primary medium.
Through weekly drawing and painting exercises, you will experiment with line, gesture, and composition while developing your own visual language. Guided by a Frye Teaching Artist, the course encourages playful exploration, creative confidence, and the sharing of ideas within a supportive community of fellow participants.
