Designed for teaching artists interested in training to lead dementia-friendly creative programs in the community, this full-day workshop will provide valuable research, resources, and hands-on demonstrations from facilitators experienced in both supporting and engaging people with memory loss in the galleries and in the studio. 

Topics will cover everything from understanding different kinds of dementia to best practices for creating empowering arts engagement for participants.

Prospective participants must register their interest in attending this free program. This workshop is intended for teaching artists with experience in a museum, classroom, or community setting who are interested in facilitating dementia-friendly arts-based learning experiences. Space is limited to 15 participants.
