Fall 2026 Member & VIP Exhibitions Reception

Fall 2026 Member & VIP Exhibitions Reception

Experience the breadth, ambition, and resonance of contemporary Indigenous art this fall at the Frye. An Indigenous Present makes its only West Coast stop at the Frye, with works from elders to emerging makers spanning one hundred years that highlight the endless variability of abstraction and its capacity to hold multiple histories. In companion show My Body Is a Basket, discover how three Pacific Northwest artists—Brenda Mallory, Danielle Morsette, and Sara Siestreem—push textile traditions into unexpected terrain through sculpture, weaving, and mixed-media painting.

The season also brings the latest iteration of the Boren Banner Series with a striking new work from Seattle artist Blake Blanco that explores what it means to be human in the digital age.

Cozy up with fellow art lovers and enjoy early access to the exhibitions, tasty bites, and a complimentary drink. The party continues with a Public Reception from 7:30–9 pm.

Those eligible will receive an official email invitation prior to the event. Members may also RSVP by calling (206) 432-8289 or emailing rsvp@fryemuseum.org. Not yet a member? Join today!
