Pre-registration for this program has ended. A block of walk-in tickets will be available on site beginning 30 minutes before the performance on a first-come-first-served basis. Please take note of additional ticketing and registration policies at the bottom of the page.

The Duende Libre Trio is a dynamic, genre-bending Seattle ensemble featuring pianist Alex Chadsey, drummer and percussionist Jeff Busch, and bassist Farko Dosumov. Duende’s sound draws on eclectic influences ranging from Afro-Cuban Jazz to Brazilian Samba, American Funk, and traditional West African music.

Jazz in the City at the Frye Art Museum is a free performance series organized in partnership with Ariel Media, celebrating the art form of jazz music and its long-standing influence and vibrancy in the city of Seattle.

Generous support for Jazz in the City is provided by the Frye Foundation and Frye members. Media support is provided by KNKX.

Ticketing Philosophy
The museum uses a tiered fee structure for select events. Charging moderate fees allows the museum to invest in diverse and engaging programming, supports program costs, and helps us maximize event attendance. If you are able, we ask that you purchase a General Admission ticket; Community Access pricing is available to keep program tickets accessible. A limited number of no-cost tickets are available. If ticket cost is an issue for you for any reason, please contact learning@fryemuseum.org.
