Members’ Tour: Tom Lloyd
Registration for this event will open soon. Members will receive a link to register in the July Member Newsletter.
Much like walking along a New York city sidewalk—with traffic lights, marquees, and skyglow guiding the way—illumination, rhythm, and movement ignite the galleries in Tom Lloyd.
Join one of our knowledgeable gallery guides to learn more about the pioneering new media artist and his legacy of cultural advocacy, take a closer look at his light-and-time-based sculptures, early assemblages, and works on paper, and explore archival materials that illuminate his efforts to transform the art world in New York and beyond.
Make a night of it! Start with Happy Hour at MariPili at Café Frieda and shop the Store’s curated Tom Lloyd collection before you go.
Please note: This exhibition contains sequences of flashing lights that may affect visitors who have photosensitivities.
Space is limited; pre-registration is required.
