Members' Tour: “Unsettled”
Just in time for spooky season, members are invited to join us for a delightfully haunting tour of Jamie Wyeth: Unsettled, a chilling exploration of the darker corners of Wyeth’s celebrated career.
Led by one of our knowledgeable gallery guides, this tour explores the ominous side of Wyeth’s work, revealing haunting figures, brooding landscapes, and scenes that might make you hesitate to take a second look. Whether it’s a flicker of the supernatural or a portrait that seems to follow your gaze, Wyeth’s unsettling imagery promises to send a shiver down your spine.
Come creep through the galleries with fellow Frye members and prepare to see this eerie exhibition in a whole new (shadowy) light.
Please note: this tour coincides with the Frye's monthly Mask-Required Hours and all attendees will be required to wear a mask during their visit. For questions, please contact Victoria Boles, Membership and Annual Fund manager, at vboles@fryemuseum.org. We appreciate your understanding.
Jamie Wyeth: Unsettled is organized by Brandywine Museum of Art and curated by Amanda Burdan, Senior Curator. The Frye Art Museum's presentation is under the direction of Faith Brower, Director and Curator of Collections.
