Woven Worlds: A Family Workshop
How can a favorite place or memory inspire a woven work of art? What happens when you wrap, weave, layer, and connect different materials? Visit An Indigenous Present and My Body Is a Basket, then create a colorful, layered piece inspired by the exhibitions with your family or friends.
Experiment with weaving techniques using yarn, fabric, and paper, and discover how different materials come together through color, texture, and form. Leave with a unique artwork and new skills to explore together.
Designed for ages 8–12 with an accompanying adult. All materials are provided. No previous art experience needed.
