Cinema Divina Film Screening & Contemplative Gazing

Cinema Divina Film Screening & Contemplative Gazing

Rest your mind and practice present-moment awareness with Cinema Divina—the creative, contemplative, and social art practice of filmmaker and author M Freeman. Take part in a guided meditative screening of a short film chosen in response to Tom Lloyd, followed by contemplative gazing and facilitated conversation.

Discover the ancient practice of lectio divina—repetitive readings of sacred textsreimagined as an immersive film experience. Reflect, connect, and gain new insights with each dynamic viewing.

Each program centers on a different theme, offering fresh opportunities for discovery, conversation, and personal reflection. All are welcome; no prior experience is required.
