Reinhard Bek is a partner at bek&frohnert LLC, a New York-based contemporary art conservation practice specializing in the intersection of conservation and technical art history. He previously led the conservation department at the Museum of Tinguely in Basel, Switzerland, and was a conservation research fellow at The Museum of Modern Art in New York. Trained in objects conservation and originally apprenticed as a shipbuilder, Bek brings decades of experience researching, conserving, and advising on complex contemporary and technology-based artworks.
