Family Field Trip to the Frye

Family Field Trip to the Frye

Field Trips aren’t just for kids! Bring the whole family to the Frye for a guided tour and hands-on artmaking activity. Our teaching artists will engage all ages—from grandparents to grade-schoolers and beyond—in active discussion, guiding groups through current exhibitions including Jessica Jackson Hutchins: Wrecked and Righteous, Sky Hopinka: Subterranean Ceremonies, and Frye Salon.

In the Art Studio, each family unit can work together on papier-mâché assemblage projects inspired by the artwork on view.

This program is recommended for ages 6 years+. For children younger than 6 years, consider registering for Small Frye.

This program is free, but registration is required. Space is limited—sign up today!
