Summer is here! Where do you like to go to cool off? Maybe the beach? Or the swimming pool? Join me to explore an artwork from the Frye’s collection featuring a seaside scene, and then we’ll create a collage inspired by it.
Here are the materials you will need:

Scissors

Glue

Collage materials (construction paper, magazine pages, newspaper, old photographs and etc.)

A collage surface (cardboard, canvas, folder, brown paper bag, or construction paper)

Optional: drawing materials (markers, crayons, color pencils and etc.)
We’ll end with a reading of Jabari Jumps by Gaia Cornwall, a story about a boy overcoming a fear of the diving board with his dad’s encouragement.
