Arts, Naturally

An arts and nature experience for people with memory loss and their families.

Join the Frye Art Museum and the Memory Hub in a special free dementia-friendly Creative Aging program inspired by art, nature and poetry, in partnership with Seattle Public Library's 2025 Seattle Reads book, You Are Here: Poetry in the Natural World by Ada Limón. Designed for people with dementia and their care partners, participants will register as a pair for an afternoon workshop from 2-4pm on Friday, May 2.

We will start by examining and discussing art inspired by nature at the Frye Art Museum and then proceed across the parking lot to the Memory Hub for a hands-on garden activity and refreshments.

Please register by April 15. Capacity is 18 participants (9 couples of persons with dementia and care partners).
