Cinema Divina Film Screening & Contemplative Gazing
Rest your mind and practice present-moment awareness with Cinema Divina—the creative, contemplative, and social art practice of filmmaker and author M Freeman. Take part in a guided meditative screening of a new short film created in response to Jonathan Lasker: Drawings and Studies, followed by contemplative gazing and facilitated conversation in the galleries.
Discover the ancient practice of lectio divina—repetitive readings of sacred texts—reimagined as an immersive film experience. Reflect, connect, and gain new insights with each dynamic viewing. All are welcome. No prior experience is required.
