Coffee & Creativity

Coffee & Creativity

The first Friday morning of each month at the Frye is dedicated to connection, creativity, and community for older adults. Start your day with coffee and conversation, followed by gallery exploration and engaging discussions. End with hands-on art making in the studio, led by professional teaching artists.

Open to all over the age of 60, this program promises to leave you feeling inspired, connected, and empowered, with a unique memento to take home.

This month, join us for a multi-sensory experience inspired by our proximity to bodies of water. Using an artwork in Frye Salon as a starting point for an emotional journey through fragrance and memory, we will put several senses to use in creating abstract watercolor pieces textured with salt.
