Coffee & Creativity

Coffee & Creativity

The first Friday morning of each month at the Frye is dedicated to connection, creativity, and community for older adults. Start your day with coffee and conversation, followed by gallery exploration and engaging discussions. End with hands-on art making in the studio, led by professional teaching artists.

Open to all over the age of 60, this program promises to leave you feeling inspired, connected, and empowered, with a unique memento to take home.

This month will begin with an exploration of the questions posed by Hugh Hayden: American Vernacular and reflect on how objects embody our identities, desires, and belonging. In the studio, we will experiment with diverse textured materials to fashion 3D objects with heartfelt relationships to our lives and homes.
