Discover and practice diverse printing techniques for your classroom. Learn to set type on printing presses and a variety of other printmaking activities accessible in your classroom. Explore monoprints, gelli plates, and more! Perfect for both elementary and secondary teachers.
Partners in Print will bring printing presses and wooden type, linocuts, and more for participants to sample, and provide information about the Print Kit, a portable letterpress print shop in a box for organizations, educators, and libraries to rent for free.

About the Presenters
Jenny Wilkson holds an MA in design from UC Berkeley and underwent a traditional letterpress apprenticeship. For 19 years, she oversaw the operations, curriculum and community outreach of the letterpress department at the School of Visual Concepts, Seattle, as its founder and director. In response to the impacts of COVID-19, she helped evolve that program into Partners in Print.
Lynda Belt holds an MA in Theatre and Education, studied with Kennedy Center CETA, Changing Educaton Through the Arts, and is a member of the Kennedy Center Partners in Education Washington State Team. Lynda has taught K-12 art and drama and led professional development for elementary and secondary art teachers for multiple school districts and ArtsEd Washington. She has been a teaching artist for over 10 years and joined the Frye in 2023.
Partners in Print brings people together by using old printing presses to amplify new voices, share knowledge, and spark creativity.
