Meet Me at the Movies

Meet Me at the Movies

Entertaining, inspiring, and uplifting, Meet Me at the Movies is a free, interactive film program that celebrates the wonder of film and its power to connect us to life’s experiences and boundless imagination.

Designed for people with memory loss and their care partners, this program can be enjoyed by all adults. Each session features themed clips from classic and contemporary films, followed by lively and meaningful audience discussions.

This winter, our Meet Me at the Movies program will explore the theme of Exploration through captivating film clips and engaging conversations. Highlights include David Lean's 1962 epic cinematic masterpiece, Lawrence of Arabia; the cinematic adaption of Tom Wolfe’s bestselling book on the U.S. space program, The Right Stuff; the inspiring documentary about Mission Blue featuring Sylvia Earle’s underwater expeditions; and a journey to Switzerland with Pacific Northwest local and travel guide Rick Steves. Join us as we view and discuss films that transport us to fascinating and diverse destinations!
