Members' Tour: Flying Woman and An American Nature

Members' Tour: Flying Woman and An American Nature

Each month, our members are invited to meet us at the museum for a curated tour led by our knowledgeable Gallery Guides. Member Tours offer the opportunity to connect more deeply with the museum and its current exhibitions and get to know others in our Frye member community.

Join our Gallery Guides as they facilitate a discussion focusing on Flying Woman: The Paintings of Katherine Bradford and Marsden Hartley: An American Nature. Take advantage of the final weeks of these special exhibitions and join this members’ tour highlighting individual artworks and overarching themes

Note: Masks will be required for this program.

Flying Woman: The Paintings of Katherine Bradford is organized by the Portland Museum of Art, Maine. The exhibition was curated by Jaime DeSimone, former Robert and Elizabeth Nanovic Curator of Contemporary Art, Portland Museum of Art, Maine. Generous support for the Frye’s installation is provided by ArtsFund, the Frye Foundation, and Frye Members. News media sponsorship is provided by The Seattle Times. Broadcast media sponsorship is provided by KCTS 9.
