Members’ Tour: Frye Architecture with Rick Sundberg
Join architect Rick Sundberg on a walk-through of the Frye Art Museum to learn about the 1997 expansion and renovation that brought us the iconic building we see today. Explore the ways the additions were coupled with existing architecture and how the use of natural light results in a jewel-box that celebrates the museum experience as well as the art.
Participation is limited to 30 people and pre-registration is required.
This tour is part of Members’ Week—our way to celebrate you for all you do to help us showcase our collection, present cutting-edge contemporary exhibitions, support local artists, and offer inclusive programs for the community, all while remaining Seattle’s only free art museum.
