Pieces of Clothing

This exhibition of video and objects exposes the hidden lives of clothes through stop-motion animation. Using the ideas of mass and temporality addressed in the work of Erwin Wurm as a departure point for exploring their own ideas, students created collaborative works revealing their relationship to comfortable and uncomfortable clothing. Employing slow-movement action to animate clothing and cut-out fashion imagery, the videos in this exhibition show how these youth respond to everyday attire.
