Meet Me at the Movies

Meet Me at the Movies

Entertaining, inspiring, and uplifting, Meet Me at the Movies is a free, interactive film program that celebrates the wonder of film and its power to connect us to life’s experiences and boundless imagination.

Designed for people with memory loss and their care partners, this program can be enjoyed by all adults. Each session features themed clips from classic and contemporary films, followed by lively and meaningful audience discussions.

Our spring Meet Me at the Movies program will feature film clips and inspired conversation on the theme animals and pets, featuring legendary animals like Toto from The Wizard of Oz. We’ll also view and discuss three documentaries, including Kedi, a story about the stray cats of Istanbul; Jeffrey Kimball’s film Birding: The Central Park Effect; and Oceans, an in-depth look at the lives of elusive deepwater creatures.
