Coffee & Creativity

Coffee & Creativity

The first Friday morning of each month at the Frye is dedicated to connection, creativity, and community for older adults. Start your day with coffee and conversation, followed by gallery exploration and engaging discussions. End with hands-on art making in the studio, led by professional teaching artists.

Open to all over the age of 60, this program promises to leave you feeling inspired, connected, and empowered, with a unique memento to take home.

This month we will focus how artwork can tell stories through Jamie Wyeth: Unsettled. Participants will explore uncanny storytelling through texture and color, creating 2D mixed media artwork inspired by Wyeth's contemporary realist style landscapes.
