Reimagine traditional poetry and language with Unpoetry at the Frye, created in collaboration with Eric M. Acosta.
Twice a year, local writers and artists generate new works celebrating artwork on view using ekphrasis—a detailed response to a work of art. With an emphasis on collaboration and creative genre bending, each Unpoetry event features a fresh lineup of artists, and offers a unique way to experience current exhibitions through sight, sound, and more.
Participants are announced approximately one month before each event.
