Art History Lecture Series | Charles White (1918-1979)

Painter, printmaker, and extraordinary draftsman Charles White created powerful images of African Americans over four decades. From the heroic characterizations of his New Deal figures to the enigmatic complexity of his late work, he never deviated from what he termed “images of dignity.”

Registration
You may purchase a series pass in advance of the start of the season or at any point during the season. Individual in-person tickets may be available on a stand-by basis and cannot be purchased in advance. Tickets must be purchased in person with a credit or debit card; cash will not be accepted. Recordings of lectures will be available for purchase shortly after lecture date.

Cancellation
