Art History Lecture Series | Pieter Bruegel the Elder (ca 1525–1569)

Despite the brevity of his career, Bruegel was the most important Flemish artist of the sixteenth century. His immensely popular engraving designs and paintings present complex tableaus of peasant life, set biblical events in snowy Netherlandish landscapes, and continue to enchant centuries later.

Registration
You may purchase a series pass in advance of the start of the season or at any point during the season. Individual in-person tickets may be available on a stand-by basis and cannot be purchased in advance. Tickets must be purchased in person with a credit or debit card; cash will not be accepted. Recordings of lectures will be available for purchase shortly after lecture date.
