Mindfulness Meditation
Cultivate your present-moment awareness through mindful breathing and restful stillness. Practicing mindfulness through meditation can ease tension, calm the mind, and enhance your experience of art. In these 30-minute guided sessions, practice in community and restore balance within a busy day.
The Frye offers free, 30-minute drop-in sessions of Mindfulness Meditation sessions on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Sessions on the third Wednesday are guided by Anne Phyfe Palmer.
Registration is not required, and all are welcome.
About the Facilitator

She is the founder of 8 Limbs Yoga Centers, a family of neighborhood yoga studios in Seattle, and was studio director and a yoga teacher there for almost 30 years. She now teaches yoga at Ritual House and Saint Mark’s Cathedral, works at the Washington Park Arboretum, and is near completion of a three-year training in Hakomi, a Mindfulness and body-based psychotherapy.
