- Verbal Description: This is an abstract black-and-white photograph. The image does not bleed to the edges of the paper, instead the print is in the shape of a trapezoid, with a shorter side on the top and two diagonal lines converging on either side. A dark, sketchy series of lines emphasize the left and bottom sides of this shape. A blurry gradient of light gray to black runs down the shape, kind of like a sunset. At the center of this gradient are two wobbly triangles of white.

- Verbal Description: This is a realistically-painted outdoor patio scene with four white chairs positioned around a matching white table. The patio set is metal and has curved lines like the style popular in the 1950s and '60s. The ground is flat and gray, perhaps concrete. The top third of the composition is filled by what looks to be the first story of a house. While most of the house is cropped out, there’s a door with three steps leading up to it. A pair of windows and a lush planting strip flank both sides of the entryway. It’s daytime and the sun is overhead, slightly to the left, casting a shadow over the façade and creating dark shapes to the right of the patio set. The lighting makes it difficult to decipher the true color of the house since it’s cast in a dark hue, but a gold door frame pops, along with a few orange buds in the planting strip on the far left.
