Museum field trips are proven to have lasting impacts on students’ lives, especially in the areas of critical thinking, social-emotional literacy, and communication skill-building1. Field Trip to the Frye is designed to engage students through multiple modes of learning, including close observation, interpersonal dialogue, and creative expression. The Frye’s teaching artists facilitate meaningful interactions with art using Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), a student-centered facilitation method that fosters collaboration, inclusivity, and community-building.
